Day 6, October 4

We pray for Mike's complete healing. May the treatment plan chosen for him be the most effective in destroying every cancer cell in his body - especially those in his oesophagus, lungs, and lymph nodes - and may the cancer never spread any further. We pray that he experiences no serious side effects, complications, or infections throughout his treatment, and that his body responds well to every stage of his care. We pray for all the doctors, nurses, specialists, and everyone caring for Mike. Guide their hands, minds, and hearts, and grant them wisdom, clarity, and discernment in every decision they make. May they be compassionate, kind, and attentive, and may they always choose the treatments and care that will bring Mike the best possible outcome. We ask for Your strength, peace, and protection to surround Mike as he courageously faces each step of his treatment journey. Grant him hope, comfort, and unwavering faith each day. We also pray for our family. Strengthen us, unite us in love, and help us to trust completely in Your plan, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. May Your presence give us peace, courage, and the assurance that nothing is impossible for You. With faith and hope, we place Mike completely in Your loving hands and boldly ask for his complete and total healing. Amen.

Dear holy servant of God, St. Peregrine, we pray today for healing. Intercede for us! God healed you of cancer and others were healed by your prayers. Please pray for the physical healing of Mike. These intentions bring us to our knees seeking your intercession for healing. We are humbled by our physical limitations and ailments. We are so weak and so powerless. We are completely dependent upon God. And so, we ask that you pray for us… Pray for us, that our suffering will not rob us of joy! We know, St. Peregrine, that you are a powerful intercessor because your life was completely given to God. We know that in as much as you pray for our healing, you are praying even more for our salvation. A life of holiness like yours is more important than a life free of suffering and disease. Pray for our healing but pray even more that we might come as close to Our Lord as you are. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O St. Pio, We come to you today knowing that you are truly a miracle worker. As one who is close to Jesus, we ask that you pray for these our intentions: the healing of Mike. Glorious, humble, and beloved Padre Pio. Teach us, we pray, humility of heart, so that we may be counted among the little ones of the Gospel to whom the Father promised to reveal the mysteries of His Kingdom. Help us to pray without ceasing, certain that God knows what we need even before we ask Him. Obtain for us the eyes of faith that will help us recognize in the poor and suffering, the very face of Jesus. Sustain us in the hour of trouble and trial and, if we fall, let us experience the joy of the sacrament of forgiveness. Grant us your tender devotion to Mary, mother of Jesus and our Mother. Accompany us on our earthly pilgrimage toward the blessed Homeland, where we too, hope to arrive to contemplate forever the Glory of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen St. Pio, we pray the prayer you composed for Confidence and Trust in God's Mercy: O Lord, we ask for a boundless confidence and trust in Your divine mercy, and the courage to accept the crosses and sufferings which bring immense goodness to our souls and that of Your Church. Help us to love You with a pure and contrite heart, and to humble ourselves beneath Your cross, as we climb the mountain of holiness, carrying our cross that leads to heavenly glory. May we receive You with great faith and love in Holy Communion and allow You to act in us as You desire for your greater glory. O Jesus, most adorable Heart and eternal fountain of Divine Love, may our prayer find favour before the Divine Majesty of Your heavenly Father. Amen. All glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. St. Padre Pio, Pray for us!

Loving God, in St. Ezekiel Moreno you have given us a model of courage in times of suffering. We turn to you at this moment of our life for strength. Grant, through the intercession of St. Ezekiel, that Mike may receive your healing comfort and be restored to health of mind and body, should it be your holy will. We also offer this prayer for those who are suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Leader: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. All: Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Leader: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. All: Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Leader: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, All: as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. St. Ezekiel Moreno, pray for us. Closing Prayer of Thanks God our Father, you gave us St. Ezekiel as a faithful preacher of your Gospel and an outstanding pastor of your Church. By his prayers help us reach out to you with all our heart as true witnesses of Christian faith and life. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Jesus said: "Today bring to me the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children and immerse them in my mercy. These souls most closely resemble my Heart. They strengthened me during my bitter agony. I saw them as earthly angels, who will keep vigil at my altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble souls are capable of receiving my grace. I favour humble souls with my confidence." Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said "Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all Heaven into ecstasy, and they are the Heavenly Father's favourites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the Throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your Merciful gaze upon meek and humble souls and upon the souls of little children, who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very Throne. Father of Mercy and of all Goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them. Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your Mercy for endless ages. Amen

Response: We trust in You. Divine Mercy, gushing forth from the bosom of the Father. Divine Mercy, from which wells forth all life and happiness. Divine Mercy, greatest attribute of God. Divine Mercy, better than the heavens. Divine Mercy, incomprehensible mystery. Divine Mercy, source of miracles and wonders. Divine Mercy, fountain gushing forth from the mystery of the Most Blessed Trinity. Divine Mercy, encompassing the whole universe. Divine Mercy, unfathomed by any intellect, human or angelic. Divine Mercy, descending to earth in the Person of the Incarnate Word. Divine Mercy, which flowed out from the open wound of the Heart of Jesus. Divine Mercy, in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. Divine Mercy, in our justification through Jesus Christ. Divine Mercy, enclosed in the Heart of Jesus for us, and especially for sinners. Divine Mercy, unfathomed in the institution of the Sacred Host. Divine Mercy, accompanying us through our whole life. Divine Mercy, embracing us especially at the hour of death. Divine Mercy, in the founding of Holy Church. Divine Mercy, endowing us with immortal life. Divine Mercy, astonishment for Angels, incomprehensible to Saints. Divine Mercy, accompanying us every moment of our life. Divine Mercy, unfathomed in all the mysteries of God. Divine Mercy, shielding us from the fire of hell. Divine Mercy, lifting us out of every misery. Divine Mercy, in the conversion of hardened sinners. Divine Mercy, source of our happiness and joy. Divine Mercy, in calling us forth from nothingness to existence. Divine Mercy, sweet relief for anguished hearts. Divine Mercy, embracing all the works of His hands. Divine Mercy, crown of all of God's handiwork. Divine Mercy, in which we are all immersed. Divine Mercy, only hope of despairing souls. Divine Mercy, repose of hearts, peace amidst fear. Divine Mercy, delight and ecstasy of holy souls. Divine Mercy, inspiring hope against all hope.

Eternal God, in whom Mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

O Mother of Perpetual Help, with faith in your great love and compassion, we come before you today. You who never abandons your children, look with mercy on Mike in his need. We lay before you his sickness, pain, weakness, and all that troubles him. You know his sufferings, and you are our gentle comforter. We ask for your powerful intercession and for the healing touch of your Son, Jesus. Pray for Mike, O loving Mother, that he may be restored in body, mind, and spirit. Grant him strength, renew his hope, and fill him with peace in the midst of his trials. We trust in your maternal care and your unfailing help. Hold him close to your heart and lead him always to Jesus. OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP, hear our prayers and obtain for Mike the grace of complete and total healing from cancer. Amen.

O Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace, Purest Virgin Mother of God, pray for us and lead us to your Son, Jesus Christ, Our True and most precious Grace. We, your children here on earth, dear Mother, are pledging our sincere devotion to you, as our Mediatrix to your Son, Jesus Christ. Come to us now and be our Mother, now and forever. Protect us from our adversaries, and lead us toward the Most Holy Life of Your Son. We now ask you to intercede for us, most lovingly. Never reject our pleas for Mike's complete and total healing from cancer but present them to the Most Sacred Heart of Your Son; help us to grow more in love for Him, our True Savior and Our Only Grace. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we call on you right now in a special way. It is through your power that we were created. Every breath we take, every morning we wake, and every moment of every hour, We live under your power. Father, we ask you now to touch Mike with that same power. For if you created him from nothing, you can certainly recreate him. Fill him with the healing power of your spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in him. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection. Let warmth of your healing love pass through his body to make new any unhealthy areas so that his body will function the way you created it to function. And Father, restore him to full health in mind and body so that he may serve you the rest of his life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
